From medical and mental health to conferences and legal settings, topics from Ethical Non-Monogamy (ENM) relationships and kink and BDSM lifestyles and communities will arise.
For Part three of this series, we will help you get a better understanding of terminology within those communities as well as add resources to your toolbox so you don't find yourself on an assignment needing to know “what does that mean?!”.
We will have Amy Studer LPC (she/zir), a specialist in mental health and consent within the LGBTQIA+, polyamorous, and kink communities, join us to discuss terminology and her experiences as a hard of hearing person navigating these various communities as an instructor.
Corey (they/them) will also be joining us to discuss their experiences (and show POSSIBLE signs) as a non-hearing member to these communities.
This three hour workshop will cover the most basic of terminology within those communities and give food for thought…
