About Amy Studer LPC

I am an LGBTQIA+ ethical non-monogamy affirming, sex and kink neutral/positive, and trauma-informed provider that specializes in Trauma, Neuro-divergence, Human Sexuality, Chronic Pain, and Disability. This means I will not pathologize you for who you are, how you think, feel, practice relationships, or how you feel sexually fulfilled.  I do not practice or condone conversion therapy.

I use evidenced-based treatments such as Behavior Therapy, DBT, CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Feminist Theory, accompanied with information, tools, and resources to help initiate change and growth. At my core, I am a Rehabilitation counselor, and my role is to help people with physical, mental, developmental, or emotional disabilities live independently by overcoming or manage the personal, social, or psychological effects of disabilities in their daily lives. I have over a decade of experience in community mental health as well as mental health in inpatient, residential, and outpatient settings.

We all want to live in a world where we feel loved, accepted, and truly seen when we show all of ourselves; where we can feel comfortable experiencing pleasure within our lives, and can have ever-changing connections with others.  I am passionate about education, personal growth, the cultivation of healthy relationships, and nurturing communities that cultivate support. I am committed to doing my part to create the world we want to live in by teaching at ENM and BDSM conferences within the community and in professional settings.
