Mission Statement

Alternative Access Counseling is committed to making therapy and coaching more accessible for consenting adults who engage in alternative sexual and relationship expressions, regardless of disability or location.  We aim to equip our clients with the tools, resources, and awareness to create their own paths, and to build the courage to take the first steps.

My Approach

As an LGBT+, consensual non-monogamy affirming, kink-positive counselor, I will always work with you as a team to embrace your identities and problem solve barriers to living authentically.
I practice solution focused therapy, DBT, CBT, Feminist therapy, and sex-positivism and will decide with you which approach you would be most comfortable using.

Deciding to see a therapist isn’t always an easy choice. The idea of discussing emotional challenges or uncomfortable thoughts may cause some anxiety, and the process of finding a therapist may seem confusing and unfamiliar. This is your opportunity to ask any counseling-related question to help you make an informed decision about therapy. This includes helping you to determine whether I am the right counselor for you.

These are truly no-obligation, free 15-minute consultations! Coming prepared with some questions can help you get more out of your consultation.  I look forward to hearing from you!
